I love this guy’s blog and his post today is a perfect example of why.

caricature man     I suppose that it doesn’t , in the overall scheme of things , make much difference , but there’s something that bothers me when I go into shops these days . I’m not a great lover of shopping so I avoid the problem most of the time ;   don’t do daily shopping or anything like that .   1. More often I hear “Can I help the next?” It doesn’t seem like they can decide what to call us anymore, what with all the stupid euphemisms.

    1. The one I hate is the mechanical “have a nice day.” A guy told me that when I had a bag full of toilet repair parts.

  2. How about “did you find everything you were looking for?” Just for the heck of it one time, I said, “No.” Nothing. Just kept on packing up my groceries…..Oh, yes. Have a nice day.
