Some bloggers inspire people to talk about heavy soul-searching topics. Some inspire us to share memories of family, vacations and wonderful meals. Some inspire us to rant about everything from human rights to robot tights. Apparently, I inspire people to talk about dog poop. Still, west-coast Dan tells a pretty funny dog poop story.
The average dog is a nicer person than the average person. Andy Rooney
That said……….
I was reading over on No Facilities recently about a dog-walking incident . What came to mind was a time when I volunteered to watch my sister’s dog for a couple of days , to feed the beast twice a day and also to walk her around the neighborhood . I can do that .
I thought I could do that .
I’m not a dog person. My family had a couple of dogs when I was a kid . I liked them just fine . Just saying ……… Nuff said…………… That being said……………
I have to be a bit cagey as I write this . My cat Cosmo is lurking around . She knows stuff. Cats know stuff . Oh , so nonchalant she appears to the naked eye to be ! She’s…

I love this quote!! If you own a dog, you’ve been in this situation at least once. I walked our dog for three years – THREE YEARS! – and always carried the dreaded bag. Never needed it. NEVER. She saved it until she was back in her own yard.
I don’t know how this happened but the walk came and I didn’t have the bag in my pocket. OMG! But, no worries really, she never poops on our walks. I think my mistake was telling her how glad I was that she saves it until we get home because I forgot the poopy bag.
Yep, you got it. There was no saving it that day. Believe me when I tell you, she produced an amount that would’ve made a horse happy! But I brought her home, grumbling all the way, got the damn bag and went back and cleaned up.
NEVER forgot the bag again! Lol. 😂😂😂
This post is hysterical! Gave me a much needed laugh this morning. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ginger. Of course that would be the day. You’re a good dog owner to go back.
Dan is one of the first bloggers I stumbled onto when I moved to WordPress, and I enjoy his posts.
I commented on his post about the day our dog filled the bag but then stopped again! Ugh. Now we carry multiple bags

This was both funny and oh, so true. I think that is one of the up-sides of having cats. No need to worry about people watching. Cause, you know cats–they always bury the evidence.

That’s true, Lois. And sicne ours are indoor cats, I don’t have to stand out in the rain while they find the perfect place.

Love this story. Our dogs are funny. One will only poop on our grass (where we walk a lot) and the other on our white rock driveway. Oh well…that’s life.

Thanks. They do get picky about their places. We’ve learned (the hard way) to carry more than one bag with Maddie.

Only you could make me laugh out loud after speaking of inspiring post and you end with dog poop and a story to go with it. Have a great day.

Strikes me as a metaphor for life, somehow — or maybe just mine?

I take it Scooter goes bag-less?

He does. After dumping several hundred million gallons of pig poop their fields few farmers object to Scooter’s contribution

Ha ha – Of course, I’m thinking of the Simpson’s Movie now.
Marge: “Is that all from your pig?”
Homer: “Most of it.”
