Happy New Year!
Whether you are still awake from the last day of 2018 or greeting the first day of of this New Year well-rested and refreshed, we wish you all the best in 2019!
I hope you can enjoy this day without the benefit of aspirin. There are some good football games on today, the Twilight Zone Marathon continues on SyFy (that’s where I’ll be), or you can take your cue from MiMi and relax in a warm spot. However you choose to spend this day, I hope it’s the start of a wonderful year!
in order to promote Linda G. Hill’s JusJoJan, I’m going to link this post to her prompt it works for me, check it out and see how it can work for you.
We don’t have any snow on the ground, but I’ve included a few pictures from Mt Maddie of past years and some favorite pictures of the Tuxedo Girls. Comments are closed.
Once the wood stove has the room all toasty, MiMi kicks back and relaxes.
Pinky! One of Maddie’s favorite toys. Actually she inherited it from a former setter.
Travel involves packing. Packing, in this house, means making sure MiMi isn’t stowing away.
“Do you have to work on the roof today?” Maddie likes her shamrock. It’s one of the toys she inherited from our previous Setters.
MuMu – “I swear, I haven’t been brushed in ages.”
Taken before Maddie had a cot and had to lay on the ground like a dog.
Well? I’m here, and you’re not scratching me.
Maddie is ready once again to share her yard with the squirrels.
MiMi likes to be upside down.
MuMu doesn’t like being ignored.
One of the things that matter, playing with Maddie.
That’s MuMu – she doesn’t always enjoy having her picture taken.
MuMu loves to be under the chair and resting on the stretchers
I think I know what Maddie was thankful for.
Maddie has to get used to moving around on her cot while wearing this coat.
I think that’s MuMu baking by the wood stove. She will flip from time to time. The tile is quite a bit colder than the air.
She’s almost there. MiMi loves to help. Here, she’s trying to help us decorate the tree.
During the thunderstorms, Maddie likes to be wrapped in her Thundershirt.
Maddie wanted to sit. I wanted a beer. We compromised.
I took Maddie out to sit, but she didn’t stay comfy for long.
MuMu thinks if you’re bothering her it better be because you’re going brush her.
