Being sick during the work-a-day portion of this new year, I hadn’t yet been able visit Great River Park. I wanted to stop on my way to work yesterday, but I wasn’t sure it was a good idea. We had received a small amount of snow overnight. Such an insignificant amount of snow wouldn’t normally bother me, but the entrance to the park is steep, it curves, and it ends next to a river. However, once I saw that a few other cars had made the trip, I figured:
“It can’t be too crazy, I mean others have done it.”
It might be better if the playlist of my life didn’t include artists like Mary Chapin Carpenter (see below gallery).
This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s fun weekly series One-Liner Wednesday. And, given the time of the year, it’s also part of Just-Jot-January. If you have a one-liner, I’d encourage you to join in on the fun. You can follow this link to participate and to see the one-liners from the other participants.
