Last week, I was in Burlington, MA for a short series of meetings. On Tuesday, I drove around at lunch. I was in search of a small café a friend had taken me to years ago, and, of course, I’m always on the lookout for interesting doors. The restaurant was in Lexington, but it has since closed. So, I drove to the Lexington Green for the doors I will share tomorrow.
In walking around the Green, I discovered one of those inspirational rocks that people sometimes paint and/or write on and leave behind for others. I know some of the bloggers I follow have created these and several have written about finding them. I have seen them before, but I never stopped to document the find – until now. I really liked the simple message on this stone:
In case you’re worried about my going malnourished, I went back to the hotel for lunch – fish tacos and chowder. Sorry if the images make you hungry.
In other news, this might be as close to one line as I’ve ever been.
This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s fun weekly series One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner, I’d encourage you to join in on the fun. You can follow this link to participate and to see the one-liners from the other participants.
