The days at No Facilities with a blog post, that is – yes, I know. The “six” happened because #WATWB was Friday, and I wanted to re-blog Teagan’s opening episode. In my defense, Friday’s story about the two remarkable young women was my most popular #WATWB post ever, and Teagan’s prologue and Episode-One post really... Continue Reading →
Just a reminder, in case you missed the opening episode of Teagan’s new serial story. You’re going to want to get in on this one from the get-go.

Happy weekend, everyone! It seems like such a long time since I did an “interactive” serial with reader participation. Well, I’m finally back with a new spontaneously written, pantser story done in my “Three Things” way of writing. I’m delighted to bring you the first installment today!
Blogger Dan Antion collaborates with me on this new story. He provides photos to inspire me and illustrate the posts. He also gives me two of the “three things” that drive this unplanned serial. The third thing comes from you the reader!
Some of you read the original introduction I posted recently, when I shared how this idea began about a year ago. I’ve revised it to fit this collaborative effort and include the first three things. Now that part is Chapter 1 — but first I have the Prologue. On a…

It’s Saturday and we’re about to head over to the bar for some adult refreshments and some fun with Linda G. Hill’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday prompt, which for today is: “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is ‘xp.’ Use it as a word, or find a word with ‘xp’ in it. As... This might be a strange little post for WATWB. I was alerted to a Twitter Tweet Stream earlier in April by a person I follow who said: “This is the nicest story I’ve read in a long time.” Who could resist? It’s a story, written originally as a series of tweets, by a woman who... Continue Reading →
This may come as a shock, but I am not always on the lookout for doors. Well, I am always interested if I see an interesting door or an interesting building, but sometimes, I just go about my business. Of course, that’s usually when my digital warehouse of doors is full and I know which... Continue Reading →
I’ve mentioned before that I am usually either the first person to arrive in our office, or the second. My coworker and I both tend to stop at Dunkin’ Donuts, we both respect each other’s choice of parking spot, and we both believe that all the light switches should be pointed up (even though two... Last week, I dragged you guys into the bowels of my technical support journey with the WordPress Happiness Engineers. Along the way, I offered some hope that the future wouldn’t hold too many of those technical travelogues: "Computers can do those things, easily, but they have to know all the steps in the workflow,... It’s a special Saturday here at the bar, but we’re still going to play along with Linda G. Hill’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday challenge. Her prompt for today: “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is ‘rib.’ Use it as a word, or find a word with ‘rib’ in it. As always, use any... Continue Reading →
After two longer than normal posts, both dripping with technology, I decided you guys deserve a break. Rather than continuing our tour of Concord, Massachusetts, today I’m just sharing a bunch of doors. I don’t know much about these doors. I see most of them every day, but that’s all I’ve got. Thursday Doors is... Continue Reading →
