This is a short post, and an unimportant one for many of you, i.e. those who have already voted in the Thursday Doors Badge contest. If you haven’t voted and would like to, please complete the poll on this page. The other reason for this short post is to participate in Linda G. Hill’s Just Jot January challenge.
So, in keeping with Linda’s prompt – Servant – I have dug out the following pictures of MuMu.
Love the evidence, Dan.

I need that proof, Maggie. MuMu screams that we never brush her.

Her face in the last image says it all. 🤣

I wish I had captured the sound, Deborah. She screams so loud. She woke us up this morning at 2:15 am.

I’m not cat person. Even when I had cats, I preferred dogs.

We are forever in the service of our pets. And our kids. :P

This is true, Linda, although our kid is pretty self-sufficient at this point.

Oh, MuMu, you are a hard taskmaster! It’s a wonder your servant has hands left, and hasn’t worn them down to nubs in serving you. But, after all, what’s a hooman for?

How well you know what the human is for, Marian. If you forget, just as Tipper or Chickie.

Ah, it’s so refreshing to see someone else who is wrapped around their cat’s paw too! :-)

Hahaha – I haven’t met any one who isn’t.

Yeah, cats cast spells so when they’re naught we forgive them quickly. ;-)

MuMu the hermit has become the headliner today. Perfect answer to the prompt. Good thing you train well Dan. I wouldn’t want to meet MuMu’s expression in that last picture too often!

How about seeing/hearing that at 2:15 am, Ginger? That was our treat this morning. She can be annoying.

If MuMu says you never brush her, she’s probably in league with the pheasants that visit our patio and say we never feed them! :)

Haha – they doth protest too much, methinks.
Are pheasants very loud?

Not as loud as cats, but they do have their moments (males, when they want food, for instance. And the girls when the boys peck at them!)
