The tomato slices were ordered instead of hash browns to make the whole meal healthy.

Just as a reminder, Thursday Doors will not be published tomorrow. Enjoy the break.

The most beautiful picture here is that breakfast. I think I see a corner of the toast that wants to be dipped in that yolk. Nice try with the tomatoes.

Yes, rye toast about to be dipped. I’m still saying ‘healthy’ :-)

oh i like this and in every slice we can add chia seeds to make it more healthy

I’ve never tried that, but… Thanks.

A day with bacon is a good day. I saw Halloween candy out at a store last week and just shook my head. Hope you’re having a good visit.

I was surprised to see the Halloween candy, but they have to get it out so they can put the Christmas decorations out “on time.”

Sure Dan, those tomatoes make all the difference in the world! Lol!
Halloween candy out here too. Christmas goods can’t be far behind!
So happy to see MiMi! Doesn’t she look content and relaxed. And MuMu looking cute as a button.
The bunny taking a nap is just too cute.
Beautiful double Rose of Sharon, and just look at all those buds! Yes, the bees are in Heaven!
You managed to get a great photo of the flag waving. Looking at the rest of the picture, it doesn’t look like any air is moving at all. But Old Glory tells us something quite different.
Enjoy some time off…hopefully with more reasonable temperatures and lots of fun.

Those tomatoes do the trick, Ginger. They even made the bacon healthy ;-)
MiMi and MuMu know how to relax. They are both getting up there in years, they need their rest. I’m not sure how old the bunny is, but a nap is always a good thing.
I hope you’re having a nice cool(er) week.

Multiple bunnies! They must be pretty comfortable with you to nap during photography.

They give us a quick look, if we head toward them. We go way around if we can.

Hurry up and buy that candy while it’s still fresh!

I did, but it won’t be here for Halloween, GP.

Tomato slices are the equivalent of ordering a small Diet Coke when you have supersized your meal ;-
Lovely photos.

Down south of you Rose of Sharon seems to be in everyone’s yard. It’s a plant that isn’t seen out west, however. I miss seeing clover in the yards here. It’s abundant west of the Mississippi.

We see a lot of Rose of Sharon plants up here. They seem to be hearty. They don’t seem to mind the cold, but they don’t like the hot and dry conditions we’ve been having. We’ve had to water them this summer.

Sleeping bunny is so cute. Halloween candy in August?! I expect Christmas decorations will be coming up next. Unreal.

Ho ho ho – I’m guessing those decorations will be out right after Labor Day, Lois. Time to get a new white stick reindeer for your lawn.

Yup! Right next to the pink flamingo. The neighbors will love it. 😆

MiMi is such a pretty kitty. She looks much like our cat, Amanda, that we had for almost nineteen years. Great photos, Dan. And breakfast looks yummy! Isn’t it crazy to think that folks used to believe tomatoes were poison?

MiMi and MuMu are 17, so they focus on being comfortable while they relax. I do enjoy tomatoes with eggs. Tomatoes were poison, and lobster were only fed to poor people. Chat we didn’t know…

When we had a garden there is nothing better than a tomato with breakfast. I’m glad you are being healthy. I used to have tomato and hash browns. Super photos.

I think the extended benefits of the tomato would cover the hash browns, John. Home grown tomatoes, sliced onto sourdough toast is my favorite breakfast item.

Ooooh yeah. I like the tomatoes warm from the sun.

🤔Hmmmm… I think we need a shot of the whole table. Hash browns come as a side dish too, you know. 😂😂😂 Hope you’re having fun, Dan.

Shush, Cheryl. In this case, I like the tomatoes better than home fries. Much fun is being had. Thanks.

No Halloween candy out here and I’m amazed by that. We were just talking about it yesterday, wondering what was up with Target & Kroger. It’s not like them to miss the opportunity to foist a holiday on their customers.

This was at our local super-ish grocery store. I wasn’t surprised, but I had to shake my head a little.I bought that stuff over a week ago.

If you think about it hard enough you can convince yourself that anything is healthy. Even chocolate. It is made from bean is it not?

Chocolate IS healthy! Ok, at least that’s what I believe.

Yay for tomatoes! It’s hard to tell, but that toast looks like whole wheat. If so, that would count, too.
