The Thursday Doors recap for the two and one half day period beginning June 1st is ready to be viewed. Click here if you’re interested. There are some wonderful doors out there this week!

The 2023 Thursday Doors Writing Challenge (TDWC) is over, and this was the most successful year in the three years the challenge has run. For those of you who enjoy statistics, check out the following:

  • 18 Photographers contributed:
  • 36 Door photos for inspiration
  • At least one photo from each photographer was used by
  • 24 Individuals who participated in the writing challenge – some more than once, creating
  • 54 Blog posts that were linked to the challenge, containing
  • 57 creative entries
  • 30 Poems were written
  • 27 Short stories or bits of flash fiction were published
  • And In response:
  • The photos received just under 200 views in April
  • The links to the writing entries received 471 clicks in May (not including mine, darn WP) and were still gathering click in June

I’m calling that a success for everyone involved, and I want to offer my sincere thanks and admiration to everyone.

I will continue to promote the writing entries on social media over the course of the summer, both individually and collectively.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

    1. Thank you, Cheryl, and thanks for your support. Three photos, two writing contributions. Without those contributions, this wouldn’t get very far. It’s been my pleasure to organize and promote the challenge.
