Today in the U.S., we celebrate Independence Day. I have a few pictures that I didn’t share with the pictures from my recent trip to Lexington, Massachusetts, and a few more from the archives. If you’re in the U.S. – Happy 4th!

It won’t be dry, Ginger, but we’re having a good day. I hope you are, too.

Great pictures!
July 4 is Alice in Wonderland Day, a commemoration of when the story was first told to the Liddell sisters by Lewis Carroll in 1862.

The fire trucks madly toot their horns and everyone waves hi in our parade. It reminds me of when I was a little kid and we made the 25-mile trip to Toronto to visit my grandparents. We had to cross railroad tracks and we often got stopped by a train. Mom would say “wave at the caboose – see if someone will wave back.” I think of that every time I see a train caboose to this day.

Thank you for taking us along. These images are wonderful. So much to see and learn. I’m envious.
