Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is “Parks and Playgrounds” and anyone who follows this blog knows I visit a few parks on a regular basis. The challenge for me is to mix it up a bit for you guys. Let’s see how I do.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

  5. You can’t beat a good park when you live in the city. They’re a pure oasis.
    But… but… no bunnies.

    1. Thanks. Sorry about the lack of bunnies. They’re still running around. I’ll have some on Wednesday.

  6. Thank you! What a great assortment of seasons and places to play! I love playgrounds and I’m in awe of what they’ve become these days. I particularly love that playground for the tadpoles — places for little legs are the best for entertainment!

    1. The remarkable thing about the Tadpole Playground is that it’s in the heart of Boston. I’m sure developers would love to get their hands on that plot of land.

      1. Well, hands off, I say! Playground land is consecrated. Not only for the sake of the children, but for the sake of the adults who need to be reminded.

Sweet Maddie making sure all is safe and sound for the kids! Priceless!

All these playgrounds are super, well thought out, well maintained and hopefully well used.

Wouldja look at Faith looking like a school girl herself!

Love the shot of Old Glory behind the icy branches.

Hope this turns out to be a great week for you Dan.

    1. Thanks Ginger. I thought maybe the ice covered branches would make the heat easier to take. It doesn’t seem to be working.

Maddie was wearing her favorite vest that day, so it must have been cold in that park, too.

Faith was being introduced to my childhood area on that trip. We’ve been going back ever since.

I hope you have a great week, Ginger. No rain in the forecast, but warm.

  9. The entrance to Keney Clock Tower Park I almost had mistaken it for a gate to a cemetery. Still a show of class.

    1. That little park does look like a cemetery, GP.

  13. Wonderful photos, Dan. The two I especially like–except for Maddie’s photos, which always take first place for me–are the two reflection photos. The 2003 NYE photo is so pretty, but the playground equipment–what a capture!

    1. Thanks Lois. Other than my own, I really like reflections. I didn’t see Maddie in the thumbnail when I picked that image, but I remember her having to check out the new item.

  14. This is a marvelous collection of photos, Dan. That fountain is a sight for dry, over-heated eyes. I like the composition of the clock tower park gate a lot. Hugs.

    1. Thanks Teagan. I wish I could send the spray from that fountain to your house for the afternoon. I appreciate your comment about the clock tower. I hope your week is off to a good start.

  15. They all look like great parks to play in or walk about in. You did great with the challenge, Dan.

    1. Thanks Deborah. The challenge for me was to find picture other than Veterans Park, where I walk every day ;-)
