Yesterday, Willow (Willowdot21) shared a wonderful discussion about When Evil Chooses You, the third book in the Dreamer’s Alliance Series. She also included her reviews of Knuckleheads and The Evil You Choose, the first and second book in the series. When we were discussing her post, I asked if she wanted to reveal the cover of the next (and final) book in the series. She agreed.

So, if you want to join a discussion between Willow and me about the books in this series and if you want a sneak peek at the new cover, head on over to Willow’s place. I left a comment to this effect at her site, but I’d like to thank Willow for her wonderful support of my blog and my writing.

As for the news, all three books are currently on sale at Amazon!

I was going to close comments here, but then I decided to add some pictures. Please leave your comments about Willow’s post at her place – I’ll be paying attention.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

    1. Thanks Cheryl. Whenever you have to cross a bridge to get where you’re going, the opportunity for chaos comes into play. I like working with that.

      1. Bridges are doors, after all. 😉

  3. I love those photos and those bridges are really something! I love that huge puddle it’s almost a brook! Bunny is cute as always and the ball game looks like you were high up!
Thank you for the mention 😊💜

    1. Thanks Willow. When they repaved our street, they left a couple of us with dips that collect large amounts of water. It’s the worst in the winter, when that water freezes, and we have a sheet of ice at the end of our driveway. They said they would repair those spots, but they never did. The bridges in Pittsburgh add some interesting scenes in the series. It’s one of the reasons I keep these books set in that city. We were about halfway up in that stadium. As for the bunnies, we have several babies out there now. They are so cute.

      1. Oh! That must be really dangerous in the winter surely your local authorities should stand up to their responsibilities before there’s a mishap.
As I said I love bridges because like rivers they are integral to all cities . Yes baby bunnies are so cute 💜💜💜

  5. I’ve always loved nighttime bridge pictures. There’s something about the lighted span reflecting over water that gets me every time.
    Waves hello to tiny bunny.

    1. We always park along a different river when we go to the games, so we can take the riverboat shuttle over to the stadium. I love being on the water on the way back. Most of the pictures are too blurry to use, but I always manage to get lucky with a few.

      That bunny knows about Rivergirl.

  6. You have some great city pictures here, but the puddle and the apple drip are where I want to be. It’s good to have the balance.

    1. Vacations are great, Maureen, but it’s always nice to come home to the familiar routine.

  7. The shots of “The Sisters” are very impressive. To me, bridges are like barns, I never get tired of seeing pictures of them. All barns and all bridges are so alike and yet uniquely different.

From the photos you took, it appears you had the best seats in the house!

If that shuttle is the smallest, the others must look like cruise liners !

I do love your shadow photo, but I can’t pretend it doesn’t stir a sadness that can’t be denied. On the other hand, it brings to mind so many photos over the years where there were two shadows! I know in spirit and in your heart Maddie still walks with you. She always will. Somebody has to watch where you’re going!

    1. Thanks Ginger. I always remember Maddie crossing over my shadow and being the subject. I think of her whenever I walk, and I find something she would have investigated. We joke about how angry she would be when I’m not ready to leave at 7:15. She’d be moaning and tapping her front feet on the floor.

Pittsburgh has so many bridges, and they are all different, but the Sisters are nearly identical, and they’re unique structures. I love seeing them, especially from the water.

We love those seats. The first time Faith and I went to a game at PNC Park, I bought seats in that section by mistake. They are more expensive than others, but they are nowhere near the cost of similar seats at Fenway or Yankee Stadium. Having access to the club is great when it rains (which it did for over an hour).

The largest ship in the fleet is still the one I worked on in 1971. It has a new name and a new paint job, but it’s the same boat. I think it carries about 5x as many people.

  8. My favorite is the first picture on the way to Pittsburgh.
I didn’t comment on Willow’s site I’m afraid. Time on the computer feels like it’s getting smaller and smaller these days. Too much to do and I keep slowing down.

  10. The foggy Trestle Bridge is cool! Great views of the city from your ball park. Reno’s stadium is built with a similar layout and but your view is better of the city. We’ve been going up a couple times a month to see the Aces play. It’s great fun.

    1. All the covers have been from my photos. This one is composed from several photos, but I took all of them. I hope to explain that on Saturday.
