Cee continues to work he way through the seasons with her Fun Foto Challenge. This week, she says:

This week our topic is either Spring or Wood. Please feel free to use archived photos for this challenge. Note: I want to see Spring where you live no matter what the weather is.

Use your imagination and see what you can come up with. Be creative and have fun with this challenge.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge

OK, let’s see what I can find in the archive, cuz spring is a long winter away.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

    1. Now now, Wendy. Where would we be without winter? Although, if we had your winter, I might understand the request better.

    1. Thanks Judy. I want just enough winter to feel like winter, but I’m not in charge, so I’ll try to be ready for anything,

Wonderful photos of spring and wood! Of course, my favorite shadow is the best! I wish we could just enjoy fall, skip winter altogether and then enjoy next spring and all its promises.

Today’s photo of Old Glory is just gorgeous.

Hope this turns out to be a great week for you. Hope too your hand is fully functional again! Ginger

    1. Thanks Ginger. My hand feels fine. I’ll be back out there getting this place ready for winter in a couple hours.

The long shadows of fall and spring just aren’t the same.

Seeing the flag at the memorial like that always starts my day moving in a better direction.

  9. How timely. Now is a good time to be reminded of rebirth, and your photos do the reminding beautifully. The flag photo is eloquent. Of course the Beauty of Moscow gets me every time, and those apple blossoms are so crazy out of order at this autumn moment that they are even better than they are in spring! Thanks for the reminder.

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed these. It won’t be long. We just have to slog through winter. It did feel good to see the lilacs. This area was hit by some kind of lilac fungus. The leaves dropped off early. I hope they come back in the spring.

  11. The photo of the flag is exquisite. It definitely belongs in a photo contest, Dan. As for Spring, it’s going to be a long wait in our area, but I’m enjoying the chilly weather, so all is well. 😊

    1. Thanks Gwen. I love fall, and spring, but I also like winter – to a degree. One good thing about winter is that I find more time to read and write :-)

    1. And I don’t envy anyone that has to deal with multiple days in a row where the temperature needs three digits. We can enjoy each other’s weather vicariously through blog posts and photos.

  13. Ow, beautiful images, Dan. The tree lined sidewalk is my favorite. I love perspective shots. I was just now taking photos of budding things in the yard before I opened your post. I’d already planned to share. That Beauty of Moscow is brilliant. Happy new week. 🙂
