Given the continuing word-count abuse I’ve been guilty of lately, I’ll go easy on you today. Cee has given us “Makes You Laugh or Smile” for her Fun Foto Challenge this week. Let’s see what we can find in the archive. For the record, all the little critters around here make me smile.

  3. These are great! The LOLs came with the splatted squirrel and the bird on the lamp post. I doubt the bird would appreciate my laughing, but the caption made me. The note from The Aqua Room is is a huge awwwwww! Thanks for a good start to the day.

    1. The note from the Aqua Room still makes me smile, Maureen. That bird would not appreciate the laughter is his expense, but it was a comical sight.

I just came in from feeding the birds and critters and I was not smiling. 19 degrees out there! You get bonus points for making me smile this morning looking at each photo!

Mollie doing her victory dance is so darn cute. Maddie with her squeaky jax is precious. MiMi on guard duty never gets old.

The bird trying not to fall off the lamp post, and the “splat” squirrel made me laugh out loud!

But the ‘thank you’ poster from the Aqua Roomers got the biggest smile of all! And that wasn’t easy b/c my lips are still frozen from being outside! 😵‍💫 Ginger

    1. 19 here, too, Ginger. I delayed my walk. Mollie would make it hard to choose a favorite Setter. She was such a precious little girl. Maddie still tugs at our hearts. Our squirrels are sleeping in today, trying to stay warm, I suppose.

The card from the Aqua Room still makes me smile.

I hope you can stay warm on these cold mornings.

  16. Good smiles Dan. What do Skippy and Cheryl think about those floating tiki bars ? And speaking about what could go wrong what does one do when one needs to make use of the “No Facilities?”

  19. Love the letter from the kids. Rustina looks as if she’s getting ready to rumble!! Lots of cute and smile-inducing photos today, Dan. Nice way to start my blog slog…I mean my reading of and responding to the blogs I follow. It’s just that some days there are so many by the time I can get started. :-) But it’s worth it. And only accepts cash??? What sort of place it that? Might be my sort of place. If more places offered discounts for cash, I’d start paying that way. It’s also harder to spend when you see the physical money going out. :-)

    1. I was trying to remember why I wrote that caption. I think it had to do with my daughter wanting to pay (but never carrying cash). It is a bit of a slog sometimes. I feel like I owe my readers a break since I’ve had three visitors to the bar in four weeks.
