Snow bunny

The Thursday Doors recap for the two and one half day period listed above is ready to be viewed. Click here if you’re interested. There are some wonderful doors out there this week!

Anyone who leaves a link or makes a pingback to the current week’s Thursday Doors post on my site, is automatically included in the recap. If you don’t leave a link, I will try to find you, but I can’t make any promises.

I published the schedule for the upcoming month:

  • December 7th – Next Thursday will be a normal week
  • December 14th – I would encourage participants to share some of their favorite photos from 2023. Alternately, you are welcome to share holiday doors.
  • December 21st – No Thursday Doors
  • December 28th – No Thursday Doors
  • January 4th – No Thursday Doors

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

  1. The table seems to have developed a bug this week, but you must have noticed it already

    1. Thanks. This was the 4th attempt at creating the table and the one with the best results. This is a WordPress thing that happens sometimes. I’ve reported it, but WordPress says, since I’m using something that is not an intended features, they aren’t obligate to fix it.

I create this table in Excel. To get it to WordPress, I have to copy and paste it into Google Sheets, then clear the clipboard, copy and paste it into a Classic Block and turn the Classic Table into a Block Table. I used to be able to just paste the rows and columns from the Excel spreadsheet, but that stopped working in April.

  2. Some of these doors at your link are awesome, especially the rainbow in Perugia. WordPress is being WordPress like Manny being Manny again and when I try to click “like” on items from your nifty table WP prompts me to login… But I am already logged in. At 2am I don’t need that frustration. Thank goodness for your soothing, calming Bunny photo!!

  3. Poor little bunny. Are they around all winter?

    1. Yes. We see footprints and other “evidence.” They like the paths I clear with the snowblower because they can nibble on the grass. Unfortunately, they do most of their nibbling at night. I see the motion sensor lights coming off and on during the night.

      1. Aww. Poor little buns. I hope you throw a few carrot slices out there…

        1. We do. They don’t always eat them, but someone does. Possums seem to like things that are spoiled. :-)

  4. Hi Dan – we had our freezing patch down here … then it warmed up – so now is tolerable! Cheers and I’ll be around to see where the snows land! Cheery me … Hilary

  5. Awww, sweet little bunny, but nothing to nibble.

    1. They do find stuff to eat. We’ve learned not to prune shoots that appear at the bottom of our bushes.

        1. We’ve noticed what they eat. We protect the things we can’t afford to lose and let them “prune” other things I also snowblow paths (for access to firewood) and they nibble on the grass under those paths.

  8. Some amazing door posts last week. I wondered why my entry just says #VALUE! But I have read you were having a WP issue. Anyway, no big deal.

    1. Ugh. I will fix that and include in this week’s recap, Darlene.

      1. No worries my friend. Off to see the Christmas lights in Alicante city. Maybe I’ll get some good pictures.
