The day has come. What day? The day for Thursday Doors participants to choose new badge to post under for 2024. I am also participating in Just Jot January by Linda G. Hill. I am curious to see how the voting goes. Being curious is a good thing because that’s the JusJoJan prompt word for today, and it comes courtesy of me. If you want the official announcement:

January 7 – “Curious” from Dan https://nofacilities.com/

See, that’s me, just like I said.

OK, we have eight entries in this year’s badge contest. They are presented below in the order in which they were received. That’s important since, if the vote ends in a tie, the earliest entry wins. That keeps me from having to cast a tie-breaking vote.

If you participated in Thursday Doors during 2023, you are welcome to help select the new badge. Here we go: (click on the images to see a larger version)

PLEASE – Cast your vote in the poll above. Don’t use the comments!

  4. I don’t think you should have mentioned who designed which badge as it may lead to bias maybe

    1. Most of them have already been displayed on my blog and the entrant’s blog. Limiting voting to participants was done to minimize bias.

    1. Thanks Teagan. I took that photo at the Suffrage exhibit at the CT History Museum. I was so happy to find it in the archives. I’m glad more people joined. I think the extra week helped.
