I wasn’t going to prepare a blog post today, but the Happiness Engineers want me to try something. Those crafty little buggers think they might have solved the problem I’ve been having publishing or scheduling my posts. I think I’ll be able to schedule this and leave it in the queue and ultimately delete it, but just in case it gets out, I thought I’d be prepared.

Today’s JusJoJan prompt is: “Craft” from Astrid https://astridetal.com/

Earlier, I posted a comment on Linda’s blog saying: “I am falling back on JusJoJanByCo, Linda. I’m afraid my love of writing is interfering with my craft of writing. I’ll still post as I can and I’ll be here any day that I can’t.”

Woodworking is the craft I highlighted in the feature/header image – writing is my other craft these days.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

Working Hard is something you are very familiar with Dan. You wear many hats. Hopefully the HE have actually come up with a solution for your ongoing problems with getting your blog up and running smoothly.

Methinks you need some Craft Beer to help you sort out all your crafts! Lol!

    1. I hope so. They think they’ve solved one of two problems, but the one they appear to have solved is about 90% of my issue. So far, it looks promising.

      1. So annoying to have to solve anything! 90% is pretty darn good.

    1. Thanks Cheryl. I think they might have solved it. At least they have a functional workaround.

  9. So, did this work then? All sorted? I hope so!

    1. They wanted me to see if I could schedule this if I made a specific change to one of my settings. I made the change and I could schedule the post. They say, “if that works we have a solution.” I hope that means I can put the setting back the way I had it before., If not, it’s not a big deal (show trending posts).

But this one worked, and that makes me happy.

    1. Thanks Liz. This has been annoying, so I hope it is fixed. It appears to be, but they haven’t made the final change.

      1. You’re welcome, Dan. I hate to think of the years of my life I have wasted dealing with WP bugs.

        1. It’s best not to think about it, Liz. This one was time consuming because the scheduling operation took so long to officially fail, that I had to wait about five minutes just top correct a typo. And I make lots of typos.

P.S. For the record, both of your crafts are Jim-Dandy in our books.

  14. I always think of the craft of writing like the craft of sculpture – you’re always either adding or subtracting and smoothing out the details!

  15. Look at you, being all chummy with the Happiness Engineers. Hoping whatever was not working is now working– or vice versa if that makes more sense. In other words, problem solved.

  17. Would you recommend your books in the order in which you list them?

    1. I would, but if you don’t want the back story, you could skip Knuckleheads. You also could just read Secrets Held… but if you end up liking the characters, it will have been a spoiler.
