Cee gave us an interesting challenge this week:

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

  1. Quite a bit of perspective in that photo of contrails. One does not often see the sky as having depth

    1. Sometimes, living only two miles from the runway has benefits. Thanks!

  2. Love your bookends, and those chocolates. Happy Monday, Dan!

    1. I’m glad you like the bookends. They are a good project for an interesting piece of wood that isn’t big enough for a project. The chocolates barely lasted long enough for the photo.

    1. Thanks Sharukh. I enjoy making bookends, when I find the right hunk of wood.

      1. I know that. Honestly, sometimes when I and Sarah are walking around the city and I see a fallen tree or chopped portion of a tree, I always tell Sarah – probably Dan would have taken this piece home to make something out of it.

        1. Some of those pieces have ended up in the wood stove, but I always do look ;-)

  4. Two bunnies for the win. But I’m wondering if they had anything to do with that broken tulip…

    1. They eat every tulip except the yellow ones. Don’t ask me why. Of course, I planted the tulips, and I know where the bunnies live, so…

Perfect response to today’s challenge. I love the ‘sisters’ ornament. Happy to see those bookends again….they make me think of roast beef! Two cute sheep are always a plus and I love the beggars playing tag on the tree. The two bees on the same blossom is a great catch.

Happy Monday Dan. It’s snowing here! Hopefully short lived.

    1. Snowing? Yikes! I hope it is extremely short-lived, Ginger.

Did you mention roast beef when I originally shared the bookends? I remember someone saying that.

We often see a single squirrel and a half-dozen squirrels but in searching the archive, I don’t have many photos of just a pair.

The bees get so engrossed in the bee balm, I don’t think they notice each other. They never notice me.

I hope the snow stops and yo have a great Monday!

    1. Two pieces of chocolate is always a good thing, Judy. The bookends were a fun project. I’ve made several pairs. Whenever I find the right hunk of wood, I snag it for a future project. Happy Monday. Enjoy this week.

    1. Thanks Lois. It didn’t help that I planted most of the tulip bulbs just outside of where the bunnies live. D’oh.

I’m going through my bookcases now trying to eliminate one or two – so the next x number can get put in – then I must read and take them down to the local 2nd hand bookstore for onward transaction of whatever sort they deem necessary … cheers Hilary … I agree – but those are delightful bookends. Cheers Hilary
