Cee has taken a few days off while she tries to deal with a high pollen count. I hope Cee and Chris feel better soon.

She’s asked us to simply repeat her challenges from last week. For me, a participant in Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge, I’m back to being wet.

This week our topic is Things that are Wet. Please feel free to use either new or archived photos for this challenge.

Use your imagination and see what you can come up with. Be creative and have fun with this challenge.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

  4. Nice pictures. What’s that building with blue onion-shaped dome?

    Liked by 2 people

    1. That’s the Colt Dome. It sits atop the old Colt Manufacturing Company building, Samuel Colt, developer of the Colt-45, had trouble selling guns to the U.S. Government, but Russia bought some. I think he traveled to Russia and he was impressed by the onion domes on churches. This one has been restored and is part of the building that has landmark status here.

      1. It did crossed my mind that either this could be some Russian church or a mosque. I can see why it is a landmark building. The blue dome is an eye-catcher.

  6. Love the first droplet photo… and the patient bunny of course.

    1. The bunnies are much more patient than the robins. God forbid I’m late filling their bath.

Wet seems to be April’s theme for us Dan. At least it’s not snow and ice, although everything is very frosted over this morning! 20*F here.

Love all those raindrop shots and the bunnies. But the best is the “gold” water.

Old Glory’s reflection in the fire pit lid is awesome.

Hope the coming week is an especially good one..ya know, warm, dry and sunny!

    1. Warm and sunny would be very nice, Ginger. I’m ready for that. Wearing a knit cap again while walking today. But you’re right, it could be worse.

I’m glad you like these pictures. I can’t resist water drops and reflections.

Happy Monday and I hope you have a great week.

  8. LOL at your comment about the not-patient robins. It seems to me that robins are always looking down on people, and I don’t mean from trees. Your drip photos are great, and we sure have had drips a plenty this spring. And some frost this morning, darn it. There’s a rabbit the size of a Mack truck in the front that looks as though his/her fur coat feels really good this morning. (If that’s a her, I think we’re in for more rabbits.) I think I’d rather see a penguin in my garden.

    1. Those penguins are adorable, Maureen. We have a large bunny in our yard, too. I think you’re forecast for more bunnies is probably more accurate then the weatherman’s forecast for warm sunny days.

Our robin is back showing his disapproval of the state of his birdbath each afternoon. My wife saw him and said, “Master Robin is calling for the cabana boy.” I feel like I should bring him a tray of snacks and a warm towel.

I can never resist trying to get photos of the drips. They’re usually blurry, but I like it when it works.

Stay warm, or stay inside, but have a nice week.

      1. Good thing I was finished with my coffee; the cabana boy comment caught me unawares! Yes, robins absolutely look as though they expect spa service. A good week to you too, Dan!

      2. This made me laugh, Dan! My husband and I joke that if the table isn’t cleared off or the dishes are not done, I always say, “The cabana boy is slacking today.” Husband knows I mean him! 😆

  11. Lately our weather people cannot get it right. About three times now, we were supposed to get significant rain (they called it torrential) and we got nothing. Twenty minutes of rain at 3am is not torrential. Turning on the sprinklers really eats into the water bill, so I always cross my fingers at the mention of rain, but not happening here so far. BUT, if I had penguins in my yard, the water bill would happily go through the roof! 😂🐧

    1. IF you had penguins, your husband would have to do a lot more fishing, too 😉

GP said they’re starting a drought. I thought Florida was where it rained every afternoon.

      Liked by 1 person

      1. He’d be a busy cabana boy, that’s for sure!

I saw GP’s comment. That used to be true more so down in the southern part of the state, I think. My parents retired to Bradenton years ago and always said that about the rain. Even in Orlando, too. My part of FL seems to be more in line with whatever weather AL or GA is having. We have had more than our share of drought weather.
