Welcome to Thursday Doors! This is a weekly challenge for people who love doors and architecture to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos, drawings, or other images or stories from around the world. If you’d like to join us, simply create your own Thursday Doors post each (or any) week and then share a link to your post in the comments below, anytime between 12:01 am Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American eastern time). If you like, you can add our badge to your post.

Tonight, the National Football League (NFL) Draft begins. This is where the 32 professional teams, line up in decreasing order of accomplishment (worst team gets first pick), and select college players to join their team. Therefore, I think it’s fitting to share doors from our recent tour of the Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Honor. Don’t worry, I threw in a couple none sports-related doors in.
I’ve tried to explain the photos in the captions. I wanted to leave room to talk about the upcoming Thursday Doors Writing Challenge.
We have been gathering images of doors for three weeks. We have quite a few and they are interesting, and I believe, inspirational. There is still time to contribute 1-3 door photos if you have some to share. At this point, either link to them in the comments of this post (if they are on your blog) or send a copy to NoFacilities at Gmail dot Com – You have until 12:00 noon (U.S. Eastern time) on Saturday.
I will assemble the doors into a gallery which will be published on Sunday, along with the full instructions for the Writing Challenge. That sounds complicated, but it’s not. This challenge is very easy to participate in. TDWC officially begins on Wednesday, May 1st. More on Sunday.
I hope you enjoy today’s gallery. I also hope you take a few minutes to visit some of the links below to see the doors from the other participants.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.
