Happy Monday. If all goes well, I will be telling Amazon to publish Bridge to Nowhere, my latest novel, before noon, today. If that works, the book might be available by Wednesday. Forgive me if I am unresponsive to comments and posts before then. I will catch up.

Today, I am sharing some photos from Old Sturbridge Village’s Christmas by Candlelight, and event our daughter and I try to attend every year. I chose this subject to join Teagan Geneviene’s Christmas in July blog hop. I was reminded of this fun event while reading a “Holly Story” by Marian Allen early today (Sunday).

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

    1. Thanks Jo. With our temps sitting at 93°f (34°c), it’s fun to think about when we were walking around in the snow.

      1. It was a nice read. Back then, I used to work in Microsoft call centre so I picked up this cyber-thriller. However, I liked Dan Brown’s Digital Fortress more probably because of its quick pace. Do you have any favorite author?

        1. Historically, it has been Kurt Vonnegut.

Congratulations on the near publishing of your latest book. You’re going to need a larger hat rack Dan….you wear so many hats now!

It’s refreshing to look at your Christmas photos, especially from OSV, during this oppressive heat. Love that old barn and the “Dr, Seuss” house!

I forgot you and Faith always visited Old Sturbridge. It reminds me of when I visited Williamsburg way, way back when…

My fingers are crossed for you and the new book. I know all too well how the publication process can sometimes become an avalanche of stress. Good luck and big hugs.

    1. Thanks Teagan. I kept telling myself the timing didn’t matter, but I there other things coming up. I really wanted this out the door this week. Self-imposed deadlines might be the worst.

Old Strubridge Village had a Christmas in July sale. It was on an unlimited pass for Christmas by Candlelight. Given that we are over an hour away, we really couldn’t benefit from the pass, but it’s nice to know that it’s coming.
