The Thursday Doors recap for the two and one half day period beginning on the above date is ready to be viewed. Click here if you’re interested. There are some wonderful doors out there this week! I hope you like the bunny. This one is in our back yard.

If you’re wondering about how to participate in Thursday Doors, the Thursday Doors menu at the top of this page includes a new entry that explains exactly that.

Note: I’m still mentioning The 4th Annual Thursday Doors Writing Challenge (TDWC) which officially ended in May. I do this because some of you might still be saying, “I should read a few of those stories.” And you should, if you haven’t. Actually, I’ve reread a few and that’s been fun, too.

Pittsburgh reporter Rachael Todd has a hard deadline — and it’s personal. Her friend is a murder suspect. He knew the victim. He has a strong motive and a weak alibi. Rachael’s certain he is being framed, and she’ll have to live up to her nickname “Rascal” to clear him. Rascal sees a connection to an earlier crime. The clock is ticking as she digs through multiple layers of legal and bureaucratic misdeeds, crimes, and evidence that the police ignored.

Is a crime solved when the criminals are identified, or only after they are brought to justice? This is a mystery born from that question. The story includes many twists and turns, even after the crime is solved. It features characters, including the bad guys, that grow in ways that might surprise you, and well-researched circumstances that will take you from delight to frustration while moving you close to the edge of your seat—sound interesting? If it does, this book is for you.

    1. You know you’re the reason there’s a bunny on this page each week.

  3. Hey Dan. I entered a post on September 19 that doesn’t appear in your summary . If I use the menu at the top of your post ( two lines at to left) nothing opens/happens. So I can’t find the instructions and just tagged it Thursday doors and included your badge. If taken a heap of shots this weekend, so do you mind outlining how to join? My link may have been to your recap, not your Thursday post?

    1. The menu is the second line under my blog title: “About My Books Thursday Doors, etc” but the link you’re looking for is: https://nofacilities.com/how-to-participate/

I’m sorry I missed your post. I did look it up and I will include it in Next week’s recap (I think you missed most of the value of this week’s recap).

      I did enjoy your post.

      1. Thank you for taking the time to reply with instructions. I don’t get the lines you refer to, and am including a screenshot so you can see what I see.
When you say I missed most of the value of the recap, are you referring to the writing comp.? Your books?
I’ll dip into the writings and will try to post doors again in a couple of weeks.
        Thanks again.

        1. I didn’t see the screenshot. Do you follow in the Reader? I’m not sure the header information is displayed there. In any case, the link I included contains the info you need. If you are using the Reader, you also won’t see the sidebar on Wednesday when I include the URL I’ll be using for my post on Thursday.

What I meant by value, is that most people had already seen the Recap post by the time I realized I had left your link out. The reason for the recap is to hopefully send more people to your blog. That’s why I’ll include it next week.
