Thursday Doors is enjoying a hiatus until January 9, 2025. That said, I am aware that some people find and photograph doors that they want to share. I might not visit the page today, but any posts linked to the comments will be added to the Thursday Doors Recap on January 12th. Until then:

  1. I get a Panettone cake or two every December. This December we’re almost finished with the first one I bought this month. I don’t think there will be two this year. Enjoy your break!

      1. Fortunately, the Panettone is Italian and not too sweet at all. It’s just right.

    2. I love Panettone! One of our local stores also stocks mini-Panettones. Those are so easy to toss in the shopping cart…😀

      1. We love it too. I have a little piece with my tea in the morning, and afternoon in December. Since we both like it I get the large cake. I slice it in two horizontally then slice up the two halves into squares. It lasts a long time that way. I wonder if our market sold the minis I’d buy less? It would be better for my waistline! 😂

  3. […] There was a picture I saw of our “traveller” riding a camel across the desert. it “almost” had me calling CAA for travel arrangements.. then I remembered, cold or extreme heat.. I like cool and cold. the memory of that time in Japan during one of their “heat waves” flashed across my gray matter… I’ll continue to be an arm chair traveller… cheers everyone! See you on Dan’s page,, he is on hiatus till Jan.9.25.. but have a look. https://nofacilities.com/2024/12/26/just-in-case-3/#comment-377595 […]

  13. I’m curious, who is Pastor Richie. The pastor of our first church in CA was named Pastor Richie. I don’t remember his last name. I may have met him once, but one of our members was devastated when he left and we came. She became a good friend, but she adored Pastor Richie.

    1. Pastor Richie is a character in a few of my books. (All the names are characters). The quote is something he says in ‘Secrets Held Against Evil’. It’s one of my favorite lines.

      1. How quickly I forget. That’s embarrassing, since I’ve read them all. Well, it gives the name new meaning for me. :) xxx
