Last week, we began a series where we feature photos that have one primary color and a significant but less dominant color. We started with black and this week, we move onto Red. If you want to see where we are going from here, check the CFFC home page.

So, this week, photos where red is a dominant color relative to a different color. Red doesn’t have to be the dominant color in the photo. If you look at my featured photo, you’ll see lots of other colors besides red and the light brown crust.

Also, you don’t have to stick with one combination. As long as, the photo includes red in a position of dominance over another color. Now let’s see if I can find some good examples.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.

    1. Thanks Jo. Maddie loved that buffalo plaid sweater. We’d put it on her before our walks in the winter and she’d try to stay in it all day.

I could have just put “red” into the search and found lots. I name all of my photos with descriptors ie car-vintage-red that sort of thing so search works well for me

The wind today is insane! But at least it’s not raining or snowing.

    Stay safe and warm.

    1. I knew you’d like seeing our favorite redhead again, Ginger. We still miss her. She’d be a pain in the butt today, though. She loved being out in the wind. She’s stick her nose up and sniff while we stood there freezing.

Stay warm. Our world still looks pretty icy.

  6. Ah, the ultimate in warm color! Especially this morning, the warmth is appreciated. LOL at the comment about Maddie — in the photo it appears she’s pretending not to know you because she’s offended at your bad. I’m amazed at the doors of the butcher shop — I didn’t know there was such a thing as a butcher shop anymore!

    1. I’m glad you liked these, Maureen. We do need warmth, and a windbreak today. Maddie often thought I didn’t know what I was doing. She would make me look at things she found interesting, and I got some very nice pictures that way. The butcher shop is in lower Manhattan.

  25. Dan, this post has me “seeing red” in the best possible way. It’s a wonderful, perky, happy collection of photos. And that old souped up, low rider pickup truck is truly a guilty pleasure. I was pos-i-lutely giddy over that thing. I hope all is well there. Hugs.
