I learned last week that Cee Neuner passed away on March 3rd. That knowledge left me profoundly sad. As others have done, I’d like to offer a small tribute to Cee, and I can’t think of a better place to do it than here, on the blog challenge she started and which she graciously allowed me to continue.

For many years, I followed Cee’s challenges, participating occasionally when I felt I had some good photos. Cee always made me feel welcome. I found that I enjoyed finding photos for her challenges, especially this one. I was hooked and my Monday blog post became a CFFC post. When Cee could no longer continue her challenges in December, I was honored that she let me continue this one.
Cee and I joined forces a few times to combine CFFC and Thursday Doors. I had never thought of linking up with another challenge. Cee suggested the combo-challenge as a way to promote both blogs. Each time was fun and we both met new people. In addition to the name and the badge, the most important thing I promised myself I would continue as I manage this challenge is to make people feel welcome.
Cee shared her love of photography and nature with us all. She helped us become better photographers, or if we were uncomfortable with that title, simply to take better pictures. Her challenges encouraged us to look at the world differently. She also taught us to think differently about challenge prompts. I was often surprised by the clever way some of her photos satisfied the challenge. Cee made us think, and in doing so, she helped us find new ways to love photography.
If you haven’t read Becky’s blog post about Cee’s passing, you can find it here. My heart goes out to Cee’s wife Chris. I can’t imagine her grief. I hope that time will ease the pain but I know that we will never lose our memories of Cee.
Today, we’re continuing our series on transportation with photos of Cars and Trucks. We will be focused on transportation for several more weeks. If you want to see where we’re going, please visit the CFFC Home Page.
Note: I will be on the road for a large portion of this day, so I might not get to your posts until later in the week. Don’t worry, I will get there.

All five of my current books are now available in audio book form thanks to Amazon KDP’s Virtual Voice process. The voice is AI generated, but I can honestly say, it’s pretty darn good. The audio books are reasonably priced (all below $7 US) and, if you already own the Kindle version and want to add an audio version, you can do that for $1.99. There is a five-minute sample on the book page for each book. If you’re interested, click on any of the Dreamer’s Alliance book links below the image or on the link below for my latest book.
