Badge entry Ritva
Ritva at Ritva Sillanmäki Photography

Welcome to Thursday Doors! This is a weekly challenge for people who love doors and architecture to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos, drawings, or other images or stories from around the world. If you’d like to join us, simply create your own Thursday Doors post each (or any) week and then share a link to your post in the comments below, anytime between 12:01 am Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American eastern time). If you like, you can add our badge to your post.

The badge contest ended in a tie, so I will be altering the badge I use here, but you are welcome to use either of the winning badges.

Thursday Doors is officially taking a break today. I do not have any doors to share, and I will be very slow to respond to door posts that are linked here. However, those posts will be included in the Sunday Recap when I return on May 25th.

On the other hand, if you’re posting an entry for the Thursday Doors Writing Challenge, I will be around to read and I will update the list. I did update the list last night, and we now have 30 creative entries!

I hope you all have a great weekend. I’ll return from my break next Thursday, May 22nd.

Since I’m here, I might as mention that yesterday, Ritu Bhathal hosted Willow Willers and me at her blog – But I Smile anyway – to help us build some interest around our novel – Poetic Justice – which will be released on June 11th.

Pop on over to Ritu’s place to read that post.

  8. I hope you’re having a great break, Dan. No need to reply.

Since my blog serial is on a somewhat unpredictable schedule, I decided to go ahead and leave a link. As with the previous episode, I used one of the inspiration doors as part of the story — for the TDWC. Hugs.
