Sometimes, there are too many things to explain in detail. A brief summary might help.
My thoughts for One-Liner Wednesday by Linda G. Hill
I am putting the final touches on Poetic Justice, the new novel that Willow Willers and I have been working on for over a year. The official release will be one week from today. The book is “Live” but only because it has to be in order to produce the Virtual Voice Audio version. Of course, listening to the book being read to me caused, or at least has suggested a few last minute changes. I’ve written the description on Amazon to discourage purchase. Besides, the price will be lower in a week.
Correction: Willow and I are talking about the book today with Jacqui Murray, at her Worddreams blog, I’ll update that link when her post is up.
I had Miriam’s post confused with Jacqui’s—it’s been that kind of week—But Miriam was busy with the Thursday Doors Writing Challenge—she contributed photos for inspiration and she contributed a wonderful story for the challenge.
I’m preparing a more detailed summary of TDWC2025 which I will post on Sunday, but in total, we had 74 creative entries: 28 short stories, 39 poems and 7 entries that fall in and around the boundary between poetry and prose. I’ve said it before: I’ve read every entry and they are all very good.
One last bit of news, fans of the flag at Veterans Memorial Park may have a new flag to look at soon. I was in the park on a couple of occasions when the all volunteer crew was working. They laid out the form for the concrete base of the memorial platform and on Monday, they were pouring concrete. This is going to be a fantastic addition to the park, and a wonderful message of gratitude and respect for our veterans when it’s complete.
