Most regular readers know I rarely post on Fridays, so this has to be special. Trust me, it is.

“Any Dirt roads or dirt pathways or trails [Bonus if RED is included].”

Let’s see what I can find.

    1. Thanks Wayne. The little beach is one of the few places around here where you can walk along the river.

  4. At this point in this summer, those red autumn leaves look mighty good! Actually, the paths are cooling also, but then paths look good in all seasons, I think. A good beginning to a hot, humid Friday! I did go to Jan’s site, but I can’t say anything I haven’t already said. Congrats on the great launch!

    1. Thanks Maureen. Walking on a cool path will feel good during the days of summer that remain. I’ll see if I can’t get back to some stories you haven’t heard, but Willow and I appreciate your support. I hope you have a great weekend.

  5. Some very artful photography. I like the low vantage point of the red leaves one.

    1. I’m glad you like that one, Sherry. It’s getting harder to get down for those. Well, getting down isn’t the problem, but getting back up…

      1. I use my cell to connect to my camera to shoot low. I can put the camera down near the ground and take the picture remotely.

        1. That’s a nice capability.

  6. Some lovely pathways there, but they all pale in comparison to that sunlight on bunny ears photo.

The bunny ears in your header photo! So sweet.

  11. Great photos Dan. I love the almost see-through detail of the Rabbit Ears. The foggy lane and the gate that leads to the causway caputer great detail. Have a great weekend.

    1. I’m glad you like these, Suzette. I don’t have many pictures of dirt roads.

  12. Great set of shots! I do love a path fading into the distance/fog or disappearing around a bend. There’s a paragraph in THE GREAT GATSBY where Jay is looking down the street in Louisville. Having lived in Louisville for many years, I’ve looked down that same street and got goosebumps.

    1. Wow! I can only imagine that feeling. Seeing the road ahead disappearing into the distance is a very special feeling. Sometimes good, sometimes scary.

Wonderful photos, Dan. I walk in the morning and often see little rabbits. So, no surprise, I love your first photo. 😊
