This week, we’re continuing the series in which we’re looking for photos taken from a specific perspective. Today’s challenge is one that was suggested by one our readers. If you want to see the upcoming ideas, take a look at the home page for this challenge.
This challenge may introduce a conflict.
I am aware that many of you participate in Macro Monday, which certainly features photos take from up close. I’m not trying to compete with that, and there are two reasons it shouldn’t matter: 1) You’re welcome to cross post your Macro Monday photos for this challenge. 2) Close up photos aren’t limited to macros. I’m not going to try to draw the line between macro and close up—I’m fairly sure it’s a fuzzy line. In addition, I’ve been told, “Less specific equals more fun.” So, if your goal was to get closer to a subject and you like your photo, it’s good enough for CFFC.
My feature photo today is a CT Rail commuter line train being pulled by an Amtrak locomotive. The train is crossing my favorite trestle and traveling through the bridge section that crosses the boat channel.
Poetic Justice, the recently released novel by Willow Willers and me is on sale through tomorrow.
OK, let’s take a look at the photos I’ve gathered this weeks’ prompt.
