This week, we’re beginning a new series in where we’re looking for photos taken at different points during the day. This challenge was suggested by one our readers. In fact, that reader was none other than Willow Willers, my delightful co-author. If you want to see the upcoming ideas, take a look at the home page for this challenge.
This week, we’re looking for photos taken near dawn. For this series, the day has been divided into six blocks of time, so we need to be careful not to overlap. After dawn, we will move onto “Morning” then “Afternoon” before moving into the evening, etc. The timing doesn’t need to be precise, I mention this only to help you prepare for the upcoming weeks.
One other thing you should know is that CFFC is the only blogging I’ll be doing for the next two weeks. I want to keep this challenge active during my break, but my presence will be limited. I plan to visit everyone who links their post to this page, but it might take me a while.
My feature photo today is a picture of Hartford taken from Great River Park across the river in East Hartford. When I was working, I used to stop at this park often. Once I got across the river, I didn’t have to worry about traffic. Stopping at this park allowed me to relax for a while before heading to the office.
OK, let’s take a look at the photos I’ve gathered this weeks’ prompt.

Of course, even on while on a break Willow and I are still shamelessly advertising our recent book. In fact, we’ve added a new video (below) where we’re sharing some of the comments people have made in their reviews of Poetic Justice.
