Welcome to the new (as of Dec. 2024) home page of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge (CFFC).

I’ve had so much fun over the year with Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge, that I didn’t want to see it go away. So, when she offered to let others manager her challenges after she was stopping, I agreed to manage this one. If you’ve participated in the past, you won’t notice many changes, but there are a few things you should know:
I’m keeping the name — Cee said I could, and I can’t imagine this being anything other than Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge
I am keeping the badge — I love that badge!
I am changing the start day to Monday. That’s the day on which I always joined, and it’s the only day that works with my blog schedule. It will still run for a week, so if Tuesday works better for you, it’s still a valid option.
Origin Story
I hope you have a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing your entries for this weekly challenge. I know there are a lot of various challenges for bloggers and I’m hoping that this is one you will have some fun with as well as maybe learn a trick or two.
One way I learned about photography is by appreciating other people’s work and getting a chance to see through someone else’s eye for a brief moment in time. Challenges are a great way to see other people’s photography and sharpen my own photographic skills at the same time.
I am a self-trained and taught photographer. I love pictures and photos of any kind. I feel that the best way to learn photography is to always have a camera with you. One exercise that has always helped me is just sit in one place for 15 minutes. You can be sitting at your computer, or you can go to your favorite place on earth. Then take as many photos of things you can see. Change your angle. If your camera has zoom capabilities, zoom in and out. See what type of photos appeal to you. Once you find what appeals to you, then practice. The main thing is to always have fun. If taking the perfect photo seems intimidating, stop and give yourself a break. Put your camera away and try again later.
The main object is to have FUN — Cee Neuner
I put that all in a quote block because I’m not a photographer. I get lucky sometimes with the photos I take, and I do some minimal cleanup in Adobe Lightroom. I take pictures with a point & shoot camera and/or my phone. But, I agree with Cee’s last line, 100% — Let’s have FUN!
How Does It Work?
Each week I will have a specific theme. This weekly photo challenge runs from Monday through Sunday.
To give you a heads up on what challenges are coming in the next few weeks, I’ll try and keep ahead of you with a list of topics. You can always check back on this page or on the current challenge week’s page to see what challenges are coming up. If you’re new at this, visit some of the past week’s entries and see what others have done.
Go through your photo archives and see what photos you have that fit the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab your camera and take a new photo!
ENJOY and have FUN.

I’ve always enjoyed this challenge, and I’m glad you are continuing it. I like what Cee said, that taking photos all different ways is fun. :)

I learned a lot following Cee’s challenges, and looking for ways to change up the photos I was taking.

I haven’t joined Cee for a long time now. But hopefully for 2025 I will be able to join you. That is a good gesture to continue with the challenge that Cee has so successfully managed…thanks Dan.
