    How lovely! They must have been one of the wealthy families in the village. A merchant perhaps?

      This was moved to the Village in the 1950s from a nearby town and then the barn was built on-site. Salem Towne is actually the name of the owner (a fact that surprised me). You can read a little bit more at https://www.osv.org/salem-towne-house
